This is a fantastic place with an open air upstairs deck that has beautiful views of the ocean. You must spend some time inside, I can not really describe it, you have to experience it. The best live blues you can find outside of New Orleans or Mississippi and you never have to cross the bridge to get to it. They also serve an array of food. If you order the dragon wings, beware, that's all I'm saying and I'm not referring to heat. This place is a must visit or just become a regular. Like alot of other places beachside you have to experience this place. It may look similar to other establishments you've been to, but I guarantee you it's not. The first time we went there to dinner we ended up staying throughout the night. The music selection went from a Frank Sonatra impersonator to karaoke and finally to a disco band. The crowd was the most mixed I have ever been in from 21 to 101 and we were all having a good time together. It is a unique place with good food and a great place to meet people. Lots of friendly locals and tourists as well. Your stay is not complete without this experience. Everything under one roof, dinner, drinks, nightclub, large outside deck and tiki bar, what more could you want? When you open the door you are greeted by a bar with 35 to 40 taps and several tv screens, and don't forget the regulars .(that is always a good sign). The food is very good, the sandwiches are huge! Ahhhh, Bunky's, it's where the locals go. If you pass by hungry, be prepared. The mouth watering aroma of the chicken wings will pull you in. The best oysters available will keep you coming back for more! There is something for everybody's taste including awesome fresh seafood, burgers, and more, not to mention a large selection of imported beers and a full liquor bar. The NEW owners, The Malone family, along with the friendly staff will make you feel like family, so bring all your friends and make some new ones while you're there. Bunky's is located at: 2372 N Hwy A1A Indialantic, Florida (across from Paradise Park) Charlie and Jake's BBQ Charlie and Jake's is a great home town BBQ restaurant. It is casual and awesome. I personally love the pulled pork and of course FRIED PICKLES! Where else can you get that around here? The food has a southern kick to it which makes an old Mississippi girl happy and you know we know our BBQ. Check it out......great Beer specials too. Thursdays are $3.50 domestic pitchers, Monday try $1.00 draft (not the little baby glass either!) You will get the scent of smoking meat when you get close. Located at: 445 E. Everything but the kitchen sink can be stuffed in the flour tortillas. Aside from burritos they offer soft tacos. Great assortment of American and Mexican brews. More hot sauces than you could ask for. Casual atmosphere. Order at the window and sit under the sun or an umbrella across the street from the beach. During summer months they even have outdoor "movie nights". Surfers hangout. All of the locals go to Long Doggers, another must when you are looking to relax and enjoy the local food and atmosphere. The best hotdogs around, but much, much more. The atmosphere is casual and the food is the best around. Don't leave without trying the macadamia-coconut shrimp, a fish taco or sandwich, handcut fries, REAL conch fritters, in other words go hungry! Goombays features homemade sauces, including citrus teriyaki, honey ginger, thai chili, and apricot sauce. There is much more to choose from on this great menu, everyone has their favorites.
